Not a great deal of difference between any of the teams.

Well there is and there isn't. We all know it's a game of inches but 12% difference between the better performed semi teams is more than inches.

Since the introduction of the McIntyre system it has gone this way. No team with a less than 50% strike rate vs other semi teams has won.

Watch this get smashed in 2003 now I've brought it up LOL

Yeah but maybe the results vs non-Top 8 teams should be published as well. What does this mean? It means a team is more prone to getting the wobbles...like we did vs the Cowboys.

How about this.... The total points score against and by top 8 sides?

As in Raiders have scored ** in all their games against the top 8 sides and have conceded ** points.

You could take alot out of these stats but at the end of the day I think they're pretty irrelevant. Take the Bulldogs, you can say 53% against the other top 8 sides is pretty good but what about the fact that they haven't won a semi final since 1999 and the last semi final they competed in they lost 52-10. I think thats alot more telling.

That's actually a stat too salivor

I actually agree with what everyone says. They can be taken or left alone depending on how you want to see them. But 2 things about stats can't be denied. They establish patterns and they are generally fact based.

I don't care who wins.

GO THE RAIDERS
GO THE STORM

Just let it be a good game!
