Ten dumps primetime news for The Project ​

Ten winds back its news 'revolution' with The Project, while reality shows are left to fight the early primetime battle.
Network Ten today announced yet another change to its early evening schedule in an aggressive push for the early prime-time audience through a news shake-up, a reality show reschedule and an early start to the TV year.

In a statement, Ten's chief programming officer, David Mott, said: "Being true to our brand, I couldn't think of a better way to start prime time than with The Project. Their innovative style in presenting the news of the day, broader stories and fierce and funny debate has been a refreshing alternative to the competition's traditional news and current affairs hour and in keeping with the irreverence Ten is known for.

Who is Charlie Pickering?

God I hate when this show mentions anything about rugby league. They act like it's some weird foreign game played by the kalahari bushman in that other town "Sydney". It amazes me how far up their own arse some victorians are....

The sad thing is, as far as prime time slots go, it's probably the cream of the crop.

Or do people prefer watching ACA, today tonight and 60 minutes? If you want to watch the news, SBS news is the only option.

With that said I probably watch about 20 minutes of non-sports related television a week, any tv shows I actually want to watch I download.
