It seems there's more experimentation going on with the team at the moment, than making solid decisions about positions. Versatility is good, but stability is better!

I'm learning to take little notice of the team listed for the Broncos each Tuesday night. After the big build up of "Half Moon", Joel Moon ended up playing almost a lock forward role on Friday night. Most of the team seemed jumbled. Lockyer playing halfback while listed at 6 etc.

Surely, with the season sliding away its time to stop experimenting and start looking for stability - after all, we only have one on the injury list - Corey Parker who's due back this week.

Is Stagg a centre or a second rower? With his defence keep him in the pack.
Is Berrigan a hooker, centre or what? We need a left centre (where he has played his best football and scored more tries) - play him there now that Ennis is back.
Who should be halfback. If Joel Moon is widely regarded as a 5/8 or lock, and that's his preferred position, play him there. He may have to wait for Origin or injury to get his place. Play a halfback at halfback - Perry or McConnell.

If it's stability they're after (And yeah I think they need it) Perry is the answer. He's the one most capable of letting Lockyer do what he wants.

id like to see mcconnell get a run

give the young lad a go. they've tried a few other options. if he doesnt work, go back to perry (as much as it pains me to say it)

there's no point playing mcconeel there if he's not going to have a role to play. the basic problem is that players dont know their role which comes down to bennetts weird choices. the past few weeks of berrigan and moon have seen those players play neither a 5/8th or halfback role and they've both looked confused as to what their doing

That's one benefit with Perry, he knows his role out there.

agreed.

however bennett needs to make up his mind as well. is there any reason for berro to still be 9? if hunt is to be the future 7 move him there now, put boyd at fullback as bennett says thats his better spot, put ennis back at hooker. put a proper centre there instead of stagg, we cana use berro or emmet

thats not a bad idea

We don't need any more experiments ... we need some continuity with positions. For example, keep Ennis at No. 9 and put Berrigan back in the centres. Lacey or Berrigan (Stagg or Carroll going to the centres) can substitute for Ennis during the game.

i agree there's been too mcuh experimenting already, but if he's gonna play silly buggers he may as well put a player who may be able to handle the role. there's no exscuse in berro being 9 anymore yet he persists and wastes using ennis or lacey
