If we are to take this retirement at face value, then TPJ is a massive idiot. 100%, can’t believe some people acting like TPJ is so valuable a commodity that he had to hatch this plan to get away. His contract has been a disaster from the get go, let’s not pretend he’s Payne Haas or Tino where he’s got half the comp waiting to offer him a $1 mil a year deal, most teams wouldn’t touch him for half that
