i've got no dramas with jimbo cp.

just seems a real shame that he hasn't frequented our forum for quite some time now.

i've always enjoyed his cheery outlook & positive forecasts.

willow - have you seen worse than tonite mate?

i'm really struggling to find one. i'm stunned at how dreadfull we were.
I said in post # 8 that it was the worst performance I've seen from us for years.

I've also told my household that this is black day and all treats have been cancelled for the next 7 days. Unfortunate because the kids were looking forward to going to Disneyland this week... but thems the breaks.

I've also put out the garbage with extra gusto tonight.

To answer your question, I've seen worse. But that's no excuse. Drag them over hot coals for month. They exhibited no respect for defence... no respect for the jersey.

A message needs to be sent to the players, by Nathan, that this type of performance will not be tolerated.

To be honest there are about 3 players who should take the field next week, and the rest replaced with Premier league. That may sound ludicrous, but if our first grade squad play like that again next week it will make tonight look like a close scoreline.

I honestly think it's time for changes, and Brown has to take a stand with the crap performances in the last three matches.

Matthew Head is not fit....no other conclusion can be derived from the last two weeks, since his return.

There was very little commitment, and no direction at all tonight.

Agreed, he was one of the few shining lights. But there were a few.
I note that Bailey was man of the match for the Titans this week

can't blame the halves.

the single biggest killer in that game was the completions.

dropping the ball continually on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd tackles is suicide.

brown needs to address why this happened.

no individual player can be singled out for punishment because they were all architects in this debacle.

his leaving was the moment i wrote this season off.

you cannot win comps without bailey-type props.

Ryles played extremely well and kept the Dragon close at the start. It's a shame he bit off more then he could chew against loo loo, had to have done something after a hit like that on Phill running with a full head of steam. Hope the injury isn't serious :)

Precisely!

I stated 3 players should take thier place on the field next week and Jason is the most obvious. I thought Ben Kreagh was a little quiet tonight, whilst Ashton seemed to be putting in some noteable effort. Justin Poore played OK, but despite some good moments even Ben Hornby seemd lacklustre.

As stated no single player can be named as performing worse than most, with the overall team performance being crap.

Yep. Any chance of being competititive was killed off by the handling... and just just dumb decisions. Experienced players like Isemonger coughed it up (twice) so there is absolutely no excuse.

Telling stats:

Time in own half: Dragons 66%
Possession: Sharks 61%
Completions: Sharks 32/43 - Dragons 21/34
Missed Tackles: Sharks 9 - Dragons 34

Unlucky scummers, you guys were definitely not on tonight, one of the worst performances I can recall seeing from you guys. It just seemed to be mistake after mistake. But then again performances like that can also galvanise a team, and on the bright side, once you have hit rock bottom the only way to go is up.

Best of luck next week guys, keep your chins up.

Handling and Poor decisions certainly hurt us badly , but no worse than outright stupidity and panic which killed us . Is it just me but when the other teams really show up to play and challenge us to an arm wrestle we always seem to lose badly .
Melbourne will give us the Custer treatment next week if we show up like this .

Wrong forum. The scummers won tonight.

FYI, the name 'scummer' was invented by Saints supporters over 10 years ago to describe the Sharks. A lot of Sharks supporters took offence to it, and some poor buggas even started a petition to try and stop the term being used. lol

It is an embarrassment to Sharks supporters when they copy the very same to deride other teams. Still the little bros.

Btw, Cheers to the scummer trolls who have the courage to show their mugs in this forum after full time. I note there was no such couarge prior to kickoff. Wonderful.
