While most of us, me included have Kayo, I suspect we’re all in for a shock come origin time & the GF
It's a downgrade but Fox League don't set a high bar to begin with, with the exception of a few.

I find the Fox commentary way more irritating than Nine. If I hear Ginnane, Speed, Roach or Ennis I flick straight to Nine if it’s a game they cover.
My local radio station is owned by WIN. I gave them some feedback about always reporting AFL ahead of NRL in all their new bulletins and reminding them that they are broadcasting into a Rugby League area.
They’ve finally said something. The afl coverage on 9 this morning was outrageous. The NRL has finally taken them to task.
Good they are calling em out, doubt anything will change though. Nein hate Rugby League.

Today show is rooted. But popularising a sport which is transmitted on a rival station is the height of stupidity.Good they are calling em out, doubt anything will change though. Nein hate Rugby League.
'but the NRL is more worried with getting its club competition greater exposure outside of NSW and Queensland.'Good they are calling em out, doubt anything will change though. Nein hate Rugby League.
Wanker'but the NRL is more worried with getting its club competition greater exposure outside of NSW and Queensland.'
Well here's an idea NRL, put teams in SA and WA if you want a national program to cover the sport more nationally!
Article sounds like a bit of News ltd sht stirring in fear that Ch9/Stan may go it alone in bidding for rights next time!
Or maybe the FTA rights holder can actually advertise our game and help generate interest in possible expansion areas? One isn't attached to the other. Flubbing it off and putting it back on the NRL just excuses Neins pathetic coverage of our game.'but the NRL is more worried with getting its club competition greater exposure outside of NSW and Queensland.'

But that’s what he always does the miserable old turd.Or maybe the FTA rights holder can actually advertise our game and help generate interest in possible expansion areas? Given how pathetic Neins coverage of the storm has been, through a 15yr dynasty, why would we bring a Perth team in and imagine it would be any different? You think Nein are suddenly pushing the game in expansion states because the Perth team comes in? No it would still be on secondary channels and barely promoted.Complain about not enough coverage outside NSW and QLD, yet wants to add another 3 teams in QLD before any other state.
But they also get games rating terribly, it’s just seems so pointless.Nine just doing what Nine does. By not pushing the NRL they get cheaper TV rights deals. Sigh.
