The 2009 Draw

once again the roosters will not travel to suncorp to take on the broncs

im living in bris this will be the 3rd year in a row that they will not play brisbane away

they draw a great crowd at suncorp 35 000+ on both occaisions. instead the brons will get some teams that draw much less with the likes of canberra and panthers

you would think that with the rivalry and history of tough games between the 2 clubs that the NRL would have them play twice each year

any thoughts as to why they dont?

We have our byes before 2 origin matches though and the 1 time we play before origin its vs Cowboys without Thurston which is good for us.

i wouldn't expect us to have any origin players anyway ... nate myles that's it

id love it if they moved the good friday match to suncorp just for the crowds, atmosphere etc.

maybe next year.
