The 4 Nations tournament begins in 120 days on October 25th at Suncorp Stadium with a double header between Nz v Aus and Eng v Samoa.
Outside information for the schedule of the tournament, why is finding information about the 4 Nations impossible to find?
For instance, there is no 4 Nations 2014 website. A Google search shows the April press release of the schedule as the first hit. The same press release mentions that ticketing information was to be released in May. I tried finding it, so was it?
But if you search the stadiums themselves for ticket information the results are in my opinion hilarious.
a) Tickets for all games in New Zealand are on sale.
b) Tickets for the opening game at Suncorp and Aus v Eng at AAMI Park go on sale today.
c) Tickets for Aus v Samoa at WIN Stadium are, well, who knows. WIN Stadium website has no idea and neither does Ticketmaster.
It is an embarrassment that after the successful running of the World Cup last year in terms of professionalism, that the 4 Nations is being run this way. In what I feel is the most anticipated 4 Nations in years the lack of care and information is unfortunately continuing the Int RL mishandling of the World Cup's momentum.
What everyone else's thoughts? Will you be buying tickets to the opening game when they go on sale today at 10pm?
