The App Appreciation thread.

Hopefully this thread will pass muster or the decent FFB mod is on duty. Anyway, this is a thread about recommending APPS be they for iPhone/iPad, android or C64. Obviously we all have our preferences for what phone we use and it doesnt become a shit fight about which is the best phone.

First cab off the rank - I highly recommend a converting APP that lets you convert imperial to metric, currencies etc. I have found this to be useful in all sorts of every day applications.

The one I use is simply called Convert and is free.

MyFitnessPal. A calorie counter, easy to use with a barcode scanner, keeps track of all that shit. Android and Apple i think.

Gameboy emulators are always cool as well. Could never get the bigger system EMUs to work though. PS1 would be sick. Only Android, because of Apple's bullshit appstore.

• Jefit- awesome fitness app (and website)
• tapatalk- great for forums
• moon phase pro widget (i use it to get a pretty moon on my home screen)
• SamyGo remote (controls my samsung smart tv, handy for when i cant find the remote and CBF'd getting up to look for it)
• Zedge (ringtones and notification tones etc)

excludes or the social ones like kik,snatchchat etc
