I agree he played well, but I would like to see him backing up in the middle like Mckinnon does so well. Slater was sniffing around on 3 or 4 occasions but I didn't see much of Mitch around the ruck, if he can develop that aspect of his game I agree with you 100%.

He showed he wasnt afraid to get involved in the backline, i think support play will come with more knowledge of the players around him. Such a good sight having a fullback trying to break the line on kick returns. And having simmo on the wing severely cuts down on my cursing during a game, benefits all round

His kick returns are a breath of fresh air. Very Kearney like breaking the first tackle every time.
