The beautiful game

The Brazillians used to call the free flowing style of soccer they played under Pele 'the beautiful game.' They meant that the team strived to play perfect football and every now and then it happened.
I think the best thing about being a Newcastle supporter is that every now and then you see the best player in the world use every talent in the team perfectly and the guys produce the Rugby League equivalent of 'the beautiful game.'

I don't care if they drop out of the finals now. i'm just pleased to see that we still have the best attacking game on the planet when it all comes together. Even the Kangaroos can't come close because it is all about Johns knowing every talent his players have and delivering them the ball when it is the right time for them to use their talents. The team has had to be together for years for it to all come together like it did last night.

It was a perfect half of Football..... I wished I had pay tv so I could watch it and not listen to it.
I was dissapointed when Joey and BK came off as they let in so many try's. They should have kept up the good way in which they were playing.
Good On Newcastle for showing that they are still a supreme team.
I'm looking forward to next Friday night when we play the Warriors.

I was disappointed with the final 20 minutes when they dropped off after joey and BK came off but it was a much improved effort. All they have to do is continue their form from now until hopefully the finals and hope they don't get anymore injuries.

Yeah hopefully Kennedy will lead.... that's really what we lack when his gone is a playmaker.... and someone to lead the team.
I don't know who will be captain for tomorrow night.
