Ennis did brain snap in retailiating, but he was CLEARLY not the agressor ....


he makes a critical call .... at a critical moment that decides the flow and momentum in a game ...


SURELY the video ref would have seen Myles elbowing Ennis twice ...


But then again, this is the same idiot who said that BILLY $LATER had Fui strip the ball off him in his own half and penalised him (Fui's hands were NO WHERE NEAR the ball).... a penalty that gave the $torm field position and then they hit the field goal that put the grand final out of reach for us.

Now while it is "fantasy football" to assume that if $LATER had not been given the penalty, we may have scored (and converted), but we were finishing stronger ...

but I digress again .....

your playing biggest game there is. penalty was awarded correctly. You dish out then you have to take the punishment with it. If he was a smarter player he would have milked it the other way. Since he is a gronk he retaliates

I think the point that Ennis is a moron is a given.

HOWEVER

Myles threw the first punch - it was plainly obvious to the television audience - even Gould in the commentary box commented that 'he missed the first punch' - referring to the refs incorrect decision!
The rule states that the player who throws the first punch is to be penalised - that was CLEARLY Myles. Ennis PROBABLY retaliated in the hope that he would win the ball back for NSW (which is moronic) - but to say the penalty was awarded correctly is inaccurate.

The penalty was wrongly given to the Maroons, AND Ennis is a Moron.

The last penalty Queensland had before that was 60 mins earlier in the game. Not to mention NSW had been awarded the last 6 penalties and were getting away with murder in the ruck. Tony tried to get NSW across the line, but could overcome the great QLD team.
