The biggest joke of the World Cup

All of these rabid League fans who can't stand Rugby and whinge, whinge, whinge about it........ But still end up watching the games.

John O'Neil must be laughing his Arse off.

For months we have been hearing that no one will go to the games, no one will watch them on TV. And yet here we have some of the Most Anti Union people breathing today and they are watching the games just so they can complain about them.

When the end of the World Cup comes around the dickhead O'Neil comes out with what ever over inflated TV viewing figure he devises, these self same people will complain and say they couldn't possibly be true. And yet they who hate the game watched it.

The logic escapes me, are your lives SO empty that you have to watch that which you hate just so you can come onto a forum and complain and whinge about it?

Good post Te Kaha. I dont think I would mind so much the three biggest whingers in this forum Dim, Steve, Iggy if they actually talked about a game or player but it is always the same line. Boring, pompus, fat, no skill. Yet they all admit that they have watched the world cup. I just wonder if you guys are so narrow sighted in the real world as you are here.

I do not know if any of you has read Spiro's article this morning. This guy is very one eyed union but he makes a good point.

Do you think they realise they're actually only doing RL a disservice? Wonder if its dawned on them that everyone here(bar Mango) is a RL fan.

I doubt it.

I don't think its yet dawned on them that they have a left shoe and a right one.

Hey guys what are we doing here???? THE WORLD CUPS HERE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY THIS IS A GREAT THING.......SHEESH so what I love Rugby League far much more than Union, but I still watch The WC games, of course i`m going to, the games are similar in so many ways (maybe not rules and players wise)...... I hope every League fan thinks the same as I do, because its a great game, hell whens the next time we`ll host one??? Probably in another 20 years time, lap it up for god sakes. Get amongst it and stop bagging it out.

On Friday night there was the Simpsons for several hours, on Sunday night there was Sixth Day and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Channel 7 isn't the only station you know, and I'm sure you know how to use a remote.

Thats a very good article by Spiro, and very true.

The part were he says in league there is more activity, but less action, and in union less activity but more action, is spot on.
