The echoes of super league are still strong. No doubt at all it was a massive sporting story, not just in this country but in the world. News ltd has bought into many sports around the world, walked over many games in order to get them on their screens. In this country they made a mess of it. It would probably make a really good series if anyone could actually make something that wasnt a police show.

Super League is the only one that affected rugby league outside of Australia (ironically for the better in the UK, albeit not for quite a lot of clubs).

Melbourne 2nd then Canterbury 3rd (Melbourne more shocking because of the premierships being stripped and who it is)

Can't really see how one player going to Japanese RU is even remotely comparable?
