I'm sorry but who the hell do you think you are?

As far as I can tell you're a blow in from the last 12 months. You only ever come here to talk about yourself.

Go away.

I do appogise. I didn't mean to make you feel left out. By the way I go where I please and what is your problem mate? I'm clearly talking about the club and it's supporters.

I hate bongos. I find them annoying and distracting. But good on Tony for being a passionate supporter, trying to rev up the crowd, and build a passionate fan base at games.

I saw a Bulldogs fan with a drum...

Every time I hear bongos at the footy it reminds me of those Bulldogs wankers who cheered and played bongos outside ANZ after we beat them in the prelims last year. And those same wankers in Bulldogs jerseys were wandering around church street in Parra a week later right after we lost the grand final cheering 'Bulldogs' and playing their bongos. Personally, I'd be a bit more original and cheer on the crowd with something other than bongos. Why stoop to the level of Dogs fans?

The Dogs fans usually play regular drums not bongos but if you think that means I'm stooping in some way then I guess your entitled to your opinion, even if I don't agree. What do you suggest we cheer the crowd on with instead?

Hi tony, it was nice to meet you yesterday...

the dogs are banned from any musical instruments at their home games, there is a running battle between them and the Security team + cops but it's against Canterbury and stadium policy to have them at their home games.

Stadium policy obviously isn't working.

So they are only against policy at their home games?? So when we play them in our home game at ANZ they can have them, but in the vice-versa game they can't?? WTF?

are you referrring one's that slip through the cracks?...yes it happens, the stadium confiscates on average 3 to 4 drums at the gate each home game but they have been known to throw them over the fence during event days..

no they were definitely banned then aswell, I guess that's the deal that the 3 parties have with each other..but again the odd 1 or 2 have been known to slip through the crack..

So it isn't just policy at their home games then? That's kind of what you had said, hence my confused reply at the difference

Yeah I dunno bout the Dogs fans, I don't really take notice drums are drums to me. Not saying your stooping mate, just that saying when I even of drums or bongos at the footy I think of idiotic Dogs fans. Good on ya for revving up the crowd regardless, saw you and your team yesterday I was sitting in the next bay. Shame those annoying clappers they handed out as freebies drowned out your efforts.

I didn't mind the thundersticks and sorry if you find them annoying also. I did actually ask the club to provide something for the kids so I don't mind getting drowned out. It's not about us in particular being heard but the overall atmosphere. I think I may have converted my nieces and nephew to the Eels with them today. They loved banging them when my in laws were trying to watch the Dragons. Great to meet some of you guys last night also.

It's all good mate. I find it annoying having 4 kids seating in front of me, and 4 behind, banging them together all game. But overall i'm not a selifish supporter so if you're promoting such initiates to convince families to come to the games, and increase the kiddies enjoyment i'm all for it. That's what matters overall.

What annoyed me the most last night was the two fellas sitting behind me talking about girlfriend issues and their respective annual leave benefits for the entire 80 minutes. I felt like I was sitting in a cafe. Passion wins IMO, thundersticks and bongos over that anyday.
