The Challenge Cup Ticket Thread

It's sold out as of today and I'd love to sit with 10,000 Les Cats fans at Wembley. How can I make this happen? I'll most likely need 2 tickets, one for me and one for another semi regular poster in the international forum. I've just emailed him to confirm he's definately in.

But how do you get tickets in Les Cats section if you not a member / season ticket holder of the club?

As the Cats don't have ten thousand fans let alone ten thousand members/season ticket holders I wouldn't have thought getting a ticket at their end would be a big problem. If you can't get one for their end I'm sure there'll be plenty on ebay with a Greater Manchester post code for sale

I think you are being unfair on the Catalans. They have had 10,000+ gates and are average around 8,000. For what is essentially a 2 year old club that is phenomenal. I know a lot of 110 year old English clubs would love their crowds.

I read somewhere that there are as many French people living in London as there are in Nice.

Ali it's not sold out... just this minute I ordered two tickets through the Superleague/RFL ticketing site.

Bay 113, 26 quid. I'm not sure if that's at the Cats or Saints end. But I've sat among Saints fans at last year's and they're OK ;-)

You just have to search around and click for bays that aren't sold out.

Fair enough, but I want to get in Les Cats end. Skolars would also have tickets still available I'd imagine. There are great deals taking in the cup final, Fridays match against York, with Serbia on the undercard, and the MX9's on the Sunday. Just waiting for the Observer to get back to me before I go ahead and book.

Good, as long as you don't miss out.

I've opted for the Prince gig on Friday night instead of the York-Skolars game, and the Leeds Festival on the Sunday instead of MX9s  Girlfriend partly to blame though...

My mate just confirmed I got my tickets and I've booked the weekend in Blighty. Come on the French!

I have called the Catalans office. No one from the ticket sales is there today because of the late night celebrations. The secretary told me to call tomorrow. I will relay any information I get tomorrow because I want some, and the secretarial staff are sure that they will not sell out all 10,000.

I think that they will return all unsold to the RFL a week before the game.

The Catalans will get great support from all non-St Helens fans that attend. But it'd be great if a few thousand could make the trip over for it.

Haha, I certainly don't hate Wigan but I'm enjoying the constant sledging of them.

Albert, sounds good mate. I'll look out for your info. It looks like we'll have half the LU international forum in London that weekend (well at least a few moderators).

It certainly looks like a good excuse to catch up for a few beers somewhere over the weekend.

Does my last post exist????

The thread shows Jason's as the last post, but then I can see my post when I enter the thread.

But now I have tried to quote it and it disappears. But when I post it it's there! Weird. Anyway, just in case no one else can see it. This is what I wrote.
