All jokes aside I'm cautiously optimistic about next season. Milford is a loss but wighton has looked good at fullback and Stuart has moved the two idiots from the halves. I'm certainly not sold on Stuart yet but he's at least shown some improvement.

Yeah, I agree Pete. Getting rid of a lot of dead wood has been one of the positives from this season. I think we were all hoping that Campese would come good as the season progressed but it just never happened. It obviously wasn't Stuart's plan to start McCrone in the halves this year, but Wighton never really showed much in his time there.

It's all going to come down to who is wearing the #6 next year. With Williams coming back (I think it's all but confirmed?) it will be interesting seeing him pair with Cornish. I can't see McCrone being there, and with Hodgson on his way over from England I can't see where McCrone fits into the top 17, to be honest. I think he'll spend most of next year playing NSW Cup with Campese.

Anyway, despite finishing 14th (pending tomorrow's Titans game) I think there were still plenty of positives and I'm looking forward to 2015 much more than I was 2014.
