this is the correct ladder, you have to understand that teh team with a higher for and against is higher on the ladder. so sharks on 3rd infront of raiders and brisbane, and also roosters infront of dogs

You can't just add the byes to every team because that is effectively giving an extra game to each of the teams that has yet to have the bye, thereby distorting the table in another direction.

If you want to eliminate the effect of the bye, the only way to do it is to look at each team's winning percentage.

Manly have won 5/6 = 83.3%
Cowboys have won 5/7 = 71.4%
Broncos have won 5/7 = 71.4%


Adding the byes puts the Storm equal with the Sharks and Raiders, yet the Sharks and Raiders have a winning percentage of 66.6% compared to the Storm's 57.1%.

The Panthers must be one of the few teams that have not lost a game by a massive margin (i.e. 20+) so far this year.
