Just when we thought Doust, was gone. He's back on committee. Just can't keep that snout, out of the trough... Andrew Gordon, got him back in. Sold the Gordon's their half of the Joint Venture, for peanuts... Now he gets his payment. Back on committee. What a corrupt bunch of parasites.
This ....... Need eradication ....... Pals , mates , ex players ......

Love to get behind a all in together St George + Illawarra Club.
But unfortunately that's not the case. To many Gordon's and Illawarra snides, in the mix. Buy out the Gordon's. Send them on their way. They haven't spent a cent, since they arrived. Just not providing any positive input. If anything more "negative". Put up some sponsorship $$.
That's what u where supposed to do.... We don't won't empty headed Andrew Gordon, anywhere near our St George club. Give all members s vote.
See how you'd go then Andy.... You'd be out at the first election.

Agree , that is where my angst lies - with the Gordon’s/ WIN . I believe that most supporters expected more from them in regards of finances and even media exposure for the joint venture , but not to be .

They seem quite content to sit back and watch their investment in the game of rugby league bounce around as would a Corey Norman bomb with a gale blowing behind it , not knowing where the ball will end up and not really caring .

What a waste of a media empire as minor as it may be , I would much rather had the rubbish emporium of BINGO ( whose bid was much higher than that of the Gordons ) as the Dragons partner - at least they are always on the move .

The JV is not working.
Steelers wish to be a single entity again, and Illawarra is large RL nursery.

St George region, however, is not. Nor is it anyway vital to the game. There's too many Sydney teams.
Times have changed, and so has the demographic. A large percentage don't give a f**k about RL, let alone the Dragons.

Enter the Central Coast. A region that is begging for an NRL team. Lots of juniors in such a broad area.

Retain the colours, jersey, and history.

You may not like it - but it makes perfect sense.

Ever heard of the Northern Eagles? How they going now?

You may not like it but your idea is dumb. Maybe take it to the Sharks fans.

To be an effective troll, you need to have some kind of basis in fact.

Illawarra is not the central coast.

But Doris , what about the Taj Mahal ? Charlie Wong’s ( all you can eat for $2 ) Chinese restaurant would go broke if we had to move up North . 🤔

These stats don't lie for mine - we are better off as St George.
Spot on BRV. We have had and are still having some excellent players from Steelers territory.. began as far back as the great Changa Langlands to my knowledge.. probably even before him. But despite all the doomsayers the St George District Junior Rugby League still has a nursery of no fewer than nine clubs. The iconic Renown United, Kogarah Cougars, Arncliffe Scots, Brighton Seagulls, Earlwood Saints, Hurstville United, Kingsgrove Colts, Penshurst RSL and Riverwood Legion. Now soccer may or may not have taken over as the most played sport in the St George area but these nine league sides still manage to put 13 boys on the paddock every week. Do the maths.. 9x13. Plus reserves. Surely that is plenty to fill future St George Harold Matthews Cup, SG Ball Cup and Jersey Flegg sides..

It really takes a special type of board to f#&k up an iconic brand and one of the best nurseries in rugby league all at the same time. Living proof that some males can multi-task.
Yes, our board is incompetence personified.
