Oh yeah, I've been a big advocate of that location, for the Sharks and the Dargons. The General added in the Dogs, hence why i was taking the piss with those locations. They would never agree to the Shire location, as much as half of them live in the area haha.

For what? We didn’t make them agree to actually finishing it for handover, so they haven’t.

Because there is no room for litigation.
The developer has worked within their contract.
It was just a bad initial contract for the club, plus other issues that have since been found out which need to be addressed before the refurbishment can start.

I believe there is a disagreement about one remaining thing. Remember the roof issue last year? This is it again. We own the fit out so it isn't that.

Annnnyway Kareela is doing well. Money still in bank. NRL grant alone keep us afloat and is growing year on year. Worst case we could sell Westpac in Cronulla. Sell Kareela. Sell the ground. We aren't bleeding cash and are super f**king tight hence this disagreement with the developer. The question is how much cash are we leaving behind not having the leaguesy? Even if the issue is sorted tomorrow we wouldn't see the club for another 12 months to do the fitout. We won't be there next season given a 12 month fit out.

That is my take. Park the cash in BTC for 6 months and sell for a 35% gain then reinvest in the upcoming dip to 10x by 2030. Coinbase just sponsored us. Beg them for some bitcoin instead of the few hundred k they pay us. Sharks sent a coinbase survey out recently and I hope you all responded.
