By the way, I seem to remember you commenting in another thread about the Lebonese team, which would have seemed to back-up my own comment.

Care to explain?

I don't remember saying "The Lebanese team was full of Campsie boys out for a laugh, and not a serious proposition as a team" I am sure that every player who played was proad to represent that nation and was not "out for a laugh"

OK. I'll concede that it was perhaps a little provocative. But I can assure you it was said tongue firmly in cheek. Is that all that I've said to offend you? If so, your reaction is a little OTT isn't it?

Perhaps it was, but reading it after three days of mango dribble it was probably just the last straw.

On another note, your thread about woodwards quotes, if you are going to cut and paste from another site please include where it is from to avoid any copyright issues.

te ka HA,
If you look at the posts on this site, you will find they have been derogatory towards Rugby for a long time. The established culture on here is to deride and belittle Rugby on the Rugby Union section. There is nowhere that it is stated this forum is for leaguies with a passing interest in RUGBY.
I have come on this site with the attitude " when in Rome do as the Romans do". So why the biased censorship? :?

This is a Rugby League site. of the 1100 odd people registered here at least 90%, probably more, DISLIKE Union (hate may be closer to the truth).

With the exception of one or two idiots they leave this forum alone. What is going to happen when it becomes an "Us vs Them" shitstorm? We will have pages and pages of anti Union threads which will lead to the Union section of this Forum being closed down.

Most of the idiot rants have been countered with logic and not with petty name calling, propaganda quoteing, or bad comparisons. For the most part the "Union apologists" ( I love that term, having never apologised for loving Union) have been the more mature.

However I have locked threads, split pointless posts and on one occasion deleted a post that offered nothing more than a slanderous attack. I will continue to do so, to maintain at least a modicum of decorum in here.

If you dont like the moderating I'm doing and feel I am showing bias to "one side or the other" send a PM to the site owners Willow & Legend.

This is the last time I will be justifying my actions and I may just make this post a sticky so everybody knows the score.

Skippy and mango, I suggest you both calm down.

Rleague.com refused to have any union posts at all, the reason being that they didn't want to descend into 1000 union v league posts. While I can understand that, it was a shame for those of us who aren't so narrow-minded that we can't enjoy both games on their own merits.

League Unlimited, in their wisdom, have provided this forum for us to talk about union. Now, there are certainly some league trolls who will post anti-union posts here, however, it is a league site. As with most trolls, if you don't feed them, they tend to get bored. Until you pair came along, we managed to discuss the game and (mostly) ignore them. You two just give them ammunition and confirm their prejudices.

With the World Cup only a week away, I'd like to be able to discuss the game sensibly. So do me a favour and cut out the anti-league stuff, please.

Dean,
I think it is most unfair to include Skip's posts with mine. Skip has clearly come on this site and posted in a responsible manner. He has reacted to attacks and handled himself more than adequately...in fact he has decicevly won all rounds. On the other hand i have posted with the intention of sticking it up the mungo twinkies. :D :D . I have done this with a smile on my face at the immaturity of those reacting to such blatant baiting. WHY WOULD I DO THIS.... EASY....there are several prominent people on this site that in the past have planned and co-ordinated attacks against Rugby sites, havn't you Willow, Moffo, Roopy. GavBT,etc. To confirm this just check the LWOS threads. These people that would try to occupy the moral high ground are absolute arseholes. They deserve whatever they get.
I've had my fun and now look forward to watching the third biggest sporting even on the planet. I might pop in from time to time but find little here worth too much trouble.
Te Ka HAHA , get a life son.

I'm calm Dean, never been a problem there mate. :D

I would contest the point that I'm anti-league though. I simply prefer Union, as I've mentioned already in other places here. In fact, I've explained already that I used to play League.

That's cool, mate. As he admitted above, mango is the biggest stirrer. I think you've come up with some good points, just sometimes the way you put them is a bit inflammatory, and then it ends up in a slanging match with some of the anti-union people. I'm sure that wasn't what was intended.

Look forward to arguing with you (constructively, of course) during the WC! :D

They called them 'crusades' if I remember correctly
