This has little to do with this thread but, i get really annoyed/frustrated whenever i read that we are going to verse or have versed somebody. That is not part of the english language. I hate to play the part of the grammar nazi, but it is just plain and simply wrong. Teams play against eachother, they do not verse eachother. The word is used in sentences such as "Welcome to Parramatta versus the Rabbitohs" "I watched the Rabbitohs versus the Roosters today and the Rabbitohs were awesome!" "I look forward to watching Parra versus the Bunnies"
