Looks like a good schedule with only 7 rounds this year. The split round is a very good addition IMO. A month till we get underway, the CNTDN will be more than ready!

Draw looks good I reckon. Has a feeling of space, which should encourage better quality writing and full sides from all competing teams.

As for the PvP, I think there's some merit in thinking about it alongside the semis and tri-nations... so that new interested players can put their hand up and get involved. At that stage of the season there are less resources than normal needed, and it's still early enough to avoid that post-season dead-zone of December-January?

That would leave February for trials, where competing teams could still recruit any newly interested players, the referees ranks and draw could be sorted out for the new season, and teams could try out brand new players in match conditions

There was a consensus that the draw be designed to minimise burn out.

Looks like an easy run in the park... and every team has writers who are good for 5+ articles per year, so here's hoping we see more 5v5 matches.

The draw should also encourage more participation in the representative matches.
