Hit the ground

His bat was several inches from the ground. Can you see the replays properly over there?

I could not have been anything but a knick.

What did shnickometer say? ;-)

]Is harbarhjan injured? Or just not selected?

He's injured, and I think he's back in India now. Out for the rest of the tour apparently. They flew out a replacement, Murali Kartik (sp?), a left armer. Not too bad from what I've seen.

i dont think they used it..
gilly didnt go up and hes closest and the most honest aussie on the field.
we get the same coverage as you lot (cept we get to see the whole game) :D

lee is an upstart.
he is a wannabe lillee.
he gives australian fast bowlers a bad name and i would like nothing more than to see sachin give the big headed, mealy mouthed prick a smack round the lugs with his bat.......

big merv would never, ever carry on like that ponce. :D

The noise didn't sound like bat on ball but the replay clearly showed the bat nowhere near the ground, the pad, the batsman's body or anything, so the sound could have only been an edge. Of course it was Billy Bowden who made the mistake so it's obvious why you're denying it was out. :p

all lee and gillespie did was waste the new ball by spraying it everywhere.

The best thing about him is you know when he is going to give somebody he out. He either shakes his head straight away or stands there for a while and then gives them the crooked finger.

have a look at his elbows, he has had chronic rhuematoid arthritis for most of his life,, his finger is crooked because he couldnt straighten it .
he walks funny because he has had an op to fuse a couple of bones in his spine together..

he is one of the funniest blokes you could ever meet.

guys a champion in nz. when he first started umping first class games the stuffed shirts of the nz cricket council wanted to chuck billy out. there was a public uproar over this and billy has gone from strength to strength..

now the aussies have just got to get used to him.. :p

Laxman and Tendulker have just won the game for India. With a little hepl from Brett Lee. I know have no faith in the Australian bowlers anymore and they don't deserve the Aussie batters to dig them out of this hole anymore.

This game is as good as gone. Poor bowling, poor fielding....An awesome batting effort is needed just to save this game. India probably should have declared just before stumps and had a crack at the Aussies. The only thing they can do wrong is bat for too long. I can't wait for Mcgraph and Warne to come back

It has been setup perfectly for S Waugh in the 2nd innings of the forth test to hit the winning runs - after we look like losing the series - A fighting innings from Waugh saves us from defeat.
I'm staying an optimist, go Steve.

Aus can get Tendulkar by snicking one to Gilchrist
MacGill/Katich - Patel
The rest is easy
If Aus gets India all out by lunch then the game is still alive. Aus could easily have 300 on the board at stumps tomorrow then declare regardless by stumps on day 4 to get a shot at the Indians.

BatterS?

It's basically only hayden and ponting. The Australian team is being carried by ponting, hayed and gillespie at the moment.
