Player revue was absolute awful. Brohman cost Taupau the world record by sticking his nose in where it wasn't needed. Molan is just being her awful self.

Hardly any discussion about football. Worthless 10 in the bin segment.

Matty Johns Big Weekend was on before it on Fox. Anyone wanting a good GF preview should watch that one.

The NRL is just awful when it comes to entertainment. Last year they had Slash and only Slash come out and play to a backing track as the Grand Final entertainment. You can't make this shit up.

It's no surprise they had Delta come out and do the same. Poorly.

For laughs I watch The Project, read Mark Kenny and Peter Hartcher of the SMH and buy the Age. Peter Fitzsimmons as well lol

So, how does this year's GF show compare to last year's?

Last year's was pretty much only 30-60mins of live performance, and the other 2hrs being highlights on the big screen of "best of" moments during the year. And yes, I feel sorry for all those morons who forked out money to that event, to basically watch a highlights show.

From what I've read in this forum, forking out money to watch singers mime/lip-sync on stage, woeful revue performances, woeful music parody intro, crap questions asked to both GF teams (they must've felt embarrassed to have turned up for that. Surely, Thurston, Bennett et al could've fibbed an excuse to avoid being there)..... I honestly wonder what Dave Smith must've been thinking sitting in the audience last night.

The fans definitely deserve a better flagship programme. Had it been the crew from Matt Johns show running the show - Matty, Fletch, Hindy, Tallis, Brandy and Lara Pitt - I probably would've tuned in and watched for the duration compared to last night where I switched off after Beau Knows Townsville. Fletch and Hindy - although not comic extraordinaries - crap all over Beau "I apologize to the fans, but I'm not here to talk about my private life" Ryan, and Lara Pitt is better than Erin brownnose Molan. Enjoy the sunshine whilst you can Erin, because like Slats, you will be quickly forgotten and placed in the scrapheap when your meteoric rise to stardom is over (reminds me of The Simpsons "I didn't do it" episode)
