it hasn't been too bad tonight. they're talking footy, and about each club/game, and all the players interviewed etc have a sense of humour.

funny without too much stupid stuff or skits playing for cheap laughs, which is good imo. i fear matty johns' show when it starts will be an unfunny skit fest and the footy will fall through the cracks.

I think once or twice is funny, but he kept on and on about it at every opportunity.
To be honest it got real boring in the end. Hopefully he will tone it down a little, and pick prime moments to do it. He is fairly new, Id give him a few weeks see how he develops.

I tell you whats unfunny, Darry Brohmans self inflicted fat jokes/skits. Bloody ridiculous and pathetic, all at the start of the show in the first segment of the new season WTF !!

I agree about Sailor, jeez it gets boring real fast, he acted the same on NRL on Fox.

I think the Brohman fats skits will be done to death all year. I think he must have had a sugar overload from that fat skit as he picked the tigers to win the comp.:crazy:

I don't think this show will change too much from previous years, just some new faces. I hope they keep that idiot Weedler off the show for good.

Hindmarsh and Mortimer was classic. Funny stuff.:lol:

i lasted an hour, we all know sailors schtick is to big-note himself but it got old real fast, i switched off

Wendel is starting to wear a bit thin with me and Brohman was just plain cringeworthy. The Fat Man has never impressed me either . The show does nothing to enhance the image of Rugby League or its fans. It makes us look like morons.
Thank Gawd they got Sterlo back to give the show some substance.

Hopefully Matty Johns can do better, but i won't be holding my breath.

The Sunday Footy Show and Sunday Roast are more my cuppa tea.

I think the show has copped some unfair critisism. Last night had some light hearted fun mixed in with some footy talk, which is great, and I think for a change the mix was about right.

Great segment on the Allstars squad.
