Its a great idea, in domestic cricket front foot no balls are very rare these days, possibly because of the free hit rule, its a double blow when a bowler oversteps making them be more careful

Agreed, he now looks like a reject from beyond the thunder dome.

I like the rule. More often than not the batsman doesn't realise that the bowler has called the ball a no-ball. The free hit allows them to punish the bowler for bowling the illegal delivery.

Yes they've brought it into 50 Over Cricket. The way I see it it would discourage bowlers from over stepping. Keeping in mind it only applies to the front foot no balls. Also the fielding side shouldn't be aloowed to change the field ona Free Hit.
