The game vs easts ...

I'd be very worried if i were an easts fan. The first half was essentially a WT reserve/fill in side with 3 first teamers - Hodgo, Halatau, Fulton and Easts struggled

Second half we played our proper team and some of the stuff we played was whisper 2005-esque. No other side can play FOOTBALL and give the ball air like we can.

Youngquest and the fijian got caught out a few times but that can be worked on. Remember as well we had no:
Heighington (our best forward)
Head
Collis
Gibbs

Easts were only without O'meley and soliola.

John Morris ... what can I say except that he was John Morris. He is a halfback in the Mat Parish mould. He will never be a halfback. Coach shines has to bite the bullet and admit he signed a dud

Lawrence's defence has improved. Hodgo looked a lot fitter

It also looks like the league has decided they want a quick game this year

And Hampstead was garbage

very happy with that. the result was never going to matter when we played the first 40 mins with 15 players featuring only 4 or 5 players who will be competing for top 17 spots.

i thought in the second half we were very crisp and the ball flowed well considering it was our first hit out. marshall was great, took the ball to the line with both hands, the defence had no idea what he was doing. none of this was seen last year. hodgo was good aswell and lawrence was dangerous evertime he touched the ball. i though kg was close to the best forward on the park, it took four roosters to bring him down everytime and he still managed an offload here and there. our forwards actually really got on top of the roosters imo, even in the first half our no names matched their 'names.'

if we played our main team for the whole game we would have won this quiet comfortably.

few concerns, defence obviously, particuarly outwide. halataus reading was terrible. everytime they attacked our right side they looked like scoring. hurry back dean collis!!

Hahah please
Hampstead would have penalised us for a jaw attacking the elbow of an opposing player
He actually looked alright
Even broke a tackle
Second facial injury for ohara with us i think .. did a cheekbone as well

Hasn't he admitted that in a way with the signing of Matthew Head?

im never a negative person but after hearing so many comments from the tigers site im a little worried

1/2 wise we have 2 injury prone players and John Morris who is not a half
Moltzen apparently played like crap which worries me even more ,im afraid are only hope is Dunley who carved up in under 20s

O'Hara injuries also worries me cause Harlen and rysko played like crap as well as Gibbs being out a few weeks means we have 0 props on the bench

i really thought a few juniors might have been able too step up this year if injuries hit but it doesnt look like anyone is close to ready not even any of the pl players from last year

not if he is gonna play him come round 1

from what i heard on match reports today i think i would be giving Dunley a shot against the GC

Hey champ ,the Roosters played about 13 of their young blokes in the second half average age 18 ,Tigers 3 tries came from our dropped balls which this time of the year there was no scrambling defence- just a trial.
Enjoy Chris Lawrence this year he wont be there next year.

If you're relying on sh*t like Nutley you're in trouble
He was past it 4 yrs ago
He will ast longer than O'Hara and Payton thats for sure.

Got to admit though Lawrence is unreal the closest thing I have seen comparable to Eric Grothe ,I can see him in the SOO this year if the selectors have any balls.
Just the same get your autographs now.

Payten is class and the bets ball playing prop in the comp
Nutley is past it hack
O'hara is sh*t and you won't find a tigers fan that thinks otherwise

that's what I said and he had a vg year for us last year - hard as nails in defence as a lot of forwards found out last year

You never know ... we might need another horse to run 47 wide so the recruitment manager's spastic son can hold his position on the rail

I'd f**k off Younquest put Lawrence on the wing oustide Collis with Halatau the other centre. The loss didn't bother me last night. Our real side was on in the second half - the y played some good footy and won the second half.

They won the second half 22-18.
