I'd f**k off Younquest put Lawrence on the wing oustide Collis with Halatau the other centre. The loss didn't bother me last night. Our real side was on in the second half - the y played some good footy and won the second half.

I`d love to know what Halatau has done to impress you over the past 2 seasons ???

I don`t know where i`ve likened him to Billy Slater, however i would compare him very similarly to Steve Turner who`s quite a good footballer himself.

u get to the game moth? imo Roosters looked the better side, most of Tigers tries came from stupid sh*t from us, we had a backline again, something not seen in a long time, Jnr jnr showed some class and control that was lacking last year. regardless of outcome was good to finally get some footy again, had good fun abusing hodgo, galloway, benjis shoulder, john morris...

I thought we pissed it second half. Some of our stuff was breathtaking and there isn't a side that can live with us if we get the chance to play up tempo. The morris try must have gone through 15 sets of hands

2 or 3 players is hardly 'full of'.

easts bascially had to fall back on attacking the righthand side.
they looked like they played to win the trial at all costs, whereas the tigers looked like they wanted to experiment and get some game fitness.

attack looked great, and we played beautiful football with each of the tries looking great.
the defense even though the score line didn't relfect it, was solid as well.
I thought halatau in particualr looked to struggle on the centers.
too short to contest the high kicks, and not reading defense in the backline too well.
he will likely have to look at aiming for a back row spot, or likely a utility role.


the forwards i thought aimed up well.Harlen and Payne were great.
Galloway was awesome and Harrison will put pressure on Heighington for the first picked backrower.

2 or 3 players is hardly 'full of'.

probably best ot be phrased as fringe firstgraders and kids holding their own against international and SOO reps.

I reckon Head will be out, Ohara wouldnt have been there anyway, so business as usual depending on any injuries from the Gold Coast trial.

On the easts game, i reckon we went ok (a few misreads in defence but thats gonna happen early on with some youngsters) but the rooters, they are in trouble, a decent side should have put 30 on us in the first half with that much possession, penalties would have been around 7-2, we didnt really get out of our half, no Ohara, Gibbs or Payton against Mason, Omealey, Nutley, Toupou geez if you couldnt put points on then you never will. They looked old and tired, Mini looked like santa claus trying to chase down Laurence. Get ready for a looong year roosters.
