Minichiello is certainly in the top 3. It's laughable to think people rated Hodgson ahead of him. He's also a fine player but not in the same league as Minichiello.

Balmain bug,

Comparing the Ragdoll to the moth is a complete joke. Ragdoll's moment of truth came when he was stranded on his little lonesome in Origin and got dragged into the fence. Anyone can look great off MArshall and Prince line break assists...which is all Ragdoll did...run off the halves. He cant break tackles, he is a weaker defender statistically, but he is a better goalkicker. Unfortunately goalkicking doesnt make him better than anyone.

The Ragdoll is a decent fullback, he always was, but to compare him the the Moth is ridiculous. The Moth is easily the superior player.

If the Golden boot award counts, so does the dally M fullback of the year award and we all know who won that.

Anyway to be quite honest I don't care where people rate Hodgson. Minichello is an extroadinarily one dimensional fullback. He does what he brilliantly. Maybe that makes him better than Hodgson. BUT, Hodgson is versatile and fits into our team perfectly. To suggest Marshall and Prince make Hodgson look good is laughable. Hodgson makes the Tigers look good and every Tigers' fan knows that. I've had this argument with you before, so i'm over it. You reall should give Hodgson more credit though. To claim the only reason he is any good is Prince and Hodgson shows an extroadinary lack of knowlege of the game and the matches played this and last year. For your sake I hope it's either to stir up Tigers' fans, or it's hyperbole to prove your point.

Im not suggesting MArshall and Prince make Hodgson look good, the Stats are. Over 60% of Ragdoll's "line breaks" were set up by MArshall and Prince's line break assists.

NRL.com. Look up the stats. Prince and Marshalls line break assists is what made Hodgson's line break count high. He makes less unassisted line breaks than the Golden Moth - who incidentally is up for the best player in the world award. :)

Hodgo is a champ.......wouldnt swap him for anyone,including Minicello.

Rooster fans seem very protective of the count,who has played very well this year,especially in the rep games.

But week in and week out,Hodgo was the best FB in the comp and thats why he won the Dally M's.

Both are very fine players.

PS.....Hodgo can pass the ball.
