My worry is that they take him to the picnic races and we won't know he's running. Would be a tragedy!

There was 5 horses in the email that are running Saturday that are blackbooked for me. I dare say it's not hard to pick the one that won't be doing much :lol:

Sonaran - The mighty one.

Mighty Mak - purely on the name (2 year old).

Ebony Girl - my daughters name.

Southern Courage - maybe one to watch for this years cups.

Hurried Choice - maybe a Slipper horse.

Really excited about Kembla though. Anyone up for a trip to the Grange to see the great one? Never know how many runs a horse left in him....... :lol:

Wasn't a fan of Nuffs trying to take some of Sonarans thunder. This is the great ones forum not yours Nuffs, so stop pushing the thread down.

Not a bad run for an $89 chance but are there any easier races?

Did anyone see today's Telegraph.............
The last page of the sports of the back had a big photo and article about the country's slowest horse. I can't remember the name of the thing but it's a 10 year old grey horse. Hasn't won a race in quite a few starts. They mentioned in the article anout how on certain racing wesites people were talking about the horse.
I think we need to organise a petition to have it and Sonaran in a match race to confirm the slowest horse in Australia!!!!!

I left the paper at work, if the cleaner didn't take out the recycling i'll try and post it on here tomorrow.

yeah i saw it.
i almost sent a letter to the editor expressing my outrage towards their opinion of "Australia's slowest horse"
don't they know "the great one" has run in a G3 and a listed race???? that has to count for something

and i just realised that "the great one" beat Backdraft by 12.5L.
geez this sonaran form is looking better every day
