Whenever there's humble your always here Mr Angry, i'm sensing some serious man-love. :D
Fair call, I watch a fair bit of QLD cup. Humble was very impressive.

Last guy who impressed was a fella called Inglis. Humble will not be the player of his generation like Greg, but will be the long term QLD 6 once Darren hangs them up.

You guys got a bargin, need to invest in it now.

In conclusion, I rate the kid highly.

I rate him very highly too, its just this aura he seems to have around him mixed in with confidence and class.
I have seen or thought of a player so much like Humble since Jarryd Hayne and Tim Smith debut.

Humble is a keeper!

Out of interest, has the loss of Kevin Kingston resonated with Eels fans? I saw the Eels a few times in '09 (including in their victory over us at Kogarah) and he certainly played a pivotal role in second phase play and supporting Mortimer.

There are 2 options here IMO;

a. Stick with KK and Morts
b. By the best out there which would be Cronk.

I would go the with B.

You look at the most successful soccer teams in the world, as soon as a player has 5-6 average performances and it's back on the transfer market.
Parra can't afford to piss fart around wasting 2 seasons to find out whether our current crop are going to work out.

Without a doubt mate, he is most likely the difference. Also could be because Robson has been moved to hooker. Id try this:

6. Mortimer
7. Robson
9. M.Keating
14.K.Keating

We are missing Kingston's aggression out of dummy half and he is now excelling at panthers who are equal first. The Eels f**ked up letting him go.

Bye bye KK, hello Cronk.

HJ knows the deal

I would only be prepared to lose KK if we were guaranteed to get Cronk.

I have a sneaking suspiscion that the club is indeed entertaining this avenue and hence why KK is yet to re-sign.

This means potentially...

6. Mortimer & Humble to fight it out.
7. Cronk

....& bye bye KK?

At the moment we have 3 young promising 5/8's and no damn half back - it just won't work imo.

It was more a case of the NRL telling Parra we can't hold Kinga as his bonus payments contributed to Parra being over the cap. Osborne's been on the footy show and confirmed all this before. It was one of those unfortunate things.

If I were coach, I would chase Hodkinson hard. Young, off contract, loves Parramatta and won't cost the Earth. KK and Mortimer can fight it out for the 6 and 14, Humble did well but is still very raw and I'd like to give him a full crack at one position (be that 6 or 1) for Wenty to avoid a similar situation to that of Mortimer this year.

i voted for option 3.

Time to buy a player who can play structure, we need to get cooper cronk we have a guy like him in the team who can run the team get hayne involved like he does with slater and the rest of the team will flourish.

1. Hayne
6. Morts
7. Cronk
9. Humble

that is what i would do ....tonight proved that we have no idea of how to get repeat sets and as good as jarryd as been for us we need more to take the focus of him ... then he can run riot.

buy cooper cronk we have a decent pack and he will help with a decent kicking game.
