While trolley boys hof job is past it's used by dates surely we can add in recruitment manager who I'm not sure anyone has heard of and has been an abject failure to date
If your referring to Ben Rogers then yes he is as useless as tits on a bull.

There is a reason souths didnt fight hard to keep him.

I could stand corrected but he was a MON appointment i believe in November 2020.

Was at the Tigers between 2011-2014 when they were useless as development manager.

And spent a season in the AFL system.

We only recruit the best at Parra.

It’s been said before but worth underlining the start of a massiv issue from the front office , aka R&R

The combined genii knew in 2021 that we would be losing 6/7 first grade players, their attempts to cover their loss was In a word “hopeless and negative”

The club was reasonably attractive , yet they found basically no one at the level of the players lost. That continued into both 2023 and 2024. Whose responsibility was it, a CEO with no footy IQ or 2 ex failed Tigers who for some reason sit in decision making chairs at the club.

Compared to what De Gois etc has done in recruitment at junior reps they are failures, simple as. Confident they work hard , but that’s like someone who crams 4/5 hours homework each night but fails exams as can’t comprehend the questions.

Yes and if like me you add Jim into the equation I am not to sure we have to much "Footy" knowledge at the club.
My favorite Jim moment this year so far is from the leagues club AGM where he proudly stated that everyone of our coaches except our Tasha Gale coach was a full-time professional.

so after the meeting, I walked straight up to him and asked “ why isn’t “Charn” full time?”

to which I was told that he didn’t know.

Our Tasha Gale Coach is Charlotte “Charn” Henry, she is the only female in charge of a side at the club.

Now perceived sexism out of the way, why would you say it as part of your presentation without knowing the full reasons behind it?

I’ve been thinking about what is actually going wrong at club level. I think post administration, we’ve correctly left the factionalism behind but then overcorrected too far. When McElduff came in he at least had singular focus and while that may not have had winning title as high priority as we want, he did get the board and the club moving in a good singular direction. Now that he’s moved on and other board members have gone and been replaced, there doesn’t seem to be that same laser focus on a goal.

In my opinion, we have board members who are probably just happy being on the board (I don’t believe there has been any major changes in direction since well before the last board changeover - I include BA sacking as not a major change).
This means the onus of club direction is filtering down to Sarantinos & MON and other execs. Sarantinos seems to want to continue with McElduff’s old directive while MON appears to have his own tune but is at least somewhat autocratic.
I think Beach should be under more scrutiny than Ryles this year. I don’t think he’s the absolute pinnacle of appointees but ultimately for him it’ll come to the decisions he makes as to how good he is. He needs to not only make the right decisions but also get the club back moving to a singular focus.

The fact that we no longer have board members who owed their actual position on the board to the CEO, should mean that the CEO and his staff are no longer protected species.

If we can't get result influencers into club for 2026, then both the Head of Football and Head of Recuitment need to be shown the door.

Did you attend a seminar to learn the results influencers buzz word?
