This isn't a hard issue. In fact it isn't an issue at all.
They've just slapped bans on Wolfman and 4 others.
Can't you see the conflict there?

Without grog and gambling sponsors they wouldn't have much sponsorship revenue.
That is partly because of the poor image of the game.
And that is partly because of alcohol and gambling related player misbehaviour.

Smoking, irresponsible drinking, gambling are a scourge on society. Why should an organisation who aspires to have a positive image lower their standards and be associated with this?
I'm all for personal choices one makes, but sometimes people are irresponsible.
Sounds like a debate about guns.
Its 2014, move along.
At least i show who i support.
Oh please . . . "it's 2104, move along ?? :lol::lol: How typical of a Melbourne scum fan.
I'm a Weststigers supporter. Don't hide it from nobody.
More importantly, you casually didn't answer my question on the coffee mugs.
But the way you think the passing of a few short years somehow compensates for the biggest, most systematic and deliberate cheating in the history of the NRL . . . somehow makes me think that the other mugs in the set are still pride of place in your living room.
I think the psychological term is denial.
Just like slater still considers those cheating years as premiership victories.
Filthy, cheating merkins who would not look out of place in the Tasmanian league.
They never genuinely apologised, because probably to this day, they didn't really think they did nothing TOO bad at the time.
