About the only performer who is within the main genre of music I listen to who would be considered babe-licious is Evan Dando.

Image wise, most of the bands I'm into dress similarly as unpretentiously as I do in jeans, t-shirts, etc. and just look like regular guys.

Yeah, they're going for that whole wanky "regular guy" image. Appealing to the lowest common denominator. Just populists. ;-)
