For the Sharks worst halfback I'd choose the unfortunate Chris Quinn.

Chris Hayward? Didn't he play for Bancock for a decade or so?

I think not only is he an ex-player but an ex-person as well

God rest his soul!

My Mrs is an avid Broncos fan.Going back to the Stuart Kelly issue,I can positively confirm he is one of the all time worst 1st graders!Last nights game definately not a one off. He`s been having shockers for 2 years. No idea what he`s doing in the Broncos team.

Fair bit of GC knowledge there.
Also, Scotty Freestone played at the Sharks too I'm sure.
I've had quite a few drinks with him & he coached the Byron Red Devils for a few years & I can categorically say, he is quite possibly the biggest human I have ever seen.
he is also nuts. A very bad combination.

Well, I just watched the highlights & I saw Stu make 2 great tackles & score a f**king cracker of a try that he had no right to.
He is in the side because, he is good enough to be one of the better players, in one of the better teams in the comp.
Simple as that.
Bennet rates him & I think he'd have just a little bit of a better idea than most.

Scott Freestone played lower grades at the Sharks in 87-89 as I recall. One of those supposive Jack Gibson discoveries. Yawn.

Parramatta are deadset shockers.

3 years ago they were the Kings. Now they're down in the dumps with the Bunnies. What the hell is doing?

They are, without a shred of doubt in my mind, THE JOKE OF THE LEAGUE.

well I think the warriors are a bigger joke of the league.
Common denominators with both clubs.
Anderson
injuries
& they both retired or released their "glues"

Yep along with their opinionated coach

I think there are many parallels with the Sharks coaching malarky of last year.

Smith recruits a dozen big logs who can't play footy. Shows the door to a team and a half of quality players, leaving only those players who are mates with the coach . Smith reckons he's been through tough times as a coach, but will fight his way out of it. Claims that the Smith has the full support of the Parra board. The Eels are a mathematical possibility of making the 8.

The coach under pressure is a cliched, predictable plot, unlike in Hollywood blockbusters there will be no happy ending.
