he peformed agains a minnow, im pretty sure someone like Symonds in the one day arena is of more use than Kallis. Henriques will be a better batsman and bowler than Kallis who is massivly over-rated.

Ponting's has just gone above 80 (80.4) and Kallis is lower 71.5 - but we all know Ponting is a more aggressive player...

But Einstein, neither player gets to face every ball of a 50 over innings.. in fact, if you do some simple maths Ponting faces on average 47 balls per innings, and Kallis 51... Ponting's average is 43.2 and Kallis' 46.2 (RSA excluding the 'exhibition' matches)....

So the difference is negligible - in fact if you handicap Ponting for his calptaincy and credit Kallis with his bowling, it becomes a pretty easy decision
