I never saw Wally play but if he's better than JT than f**k he must've been good!

Again, Same with Smith, if theres a better hooker that played for QLD than I have no idea who he is.

GI is a freak player and Slater too so if theres been better for QLD then they must have been special.

I only saw the last 3 years of Lewis career but he was comfortably better than JT even at that age. Lewis could pull of crunching tackles. Thurston's flat out trying to make an effective tackle.

Smith is the best hooker of all time, and GI is well up there with the great outside backs. He's not quite as good as Meninga though.

Smith is prob the best hooker to player or QLD. Edges out S Walters.
GI will be in the all time QLD time by the time his career ends....scary that he is only 25 and has another 8-9 yrs left.

That's bullshit. Sure his defence is not his strongest point, but neither should it be... and when it matters he puts his body on the line and is very effective.

On Wednesday we saw what happens when an attacking half comes up against a defensive half one on one.

Folau is there to take advantage of and defend against the modern trend of kicking for the winger. Not many do it better.

Thurston's kicking game over the last few years has been a momentum killer for NSW.

Some games he has the ball on a string and we start our sets at the 10 metre if we are lucky to avoid the dropout. IMO his kicking game isn't praised enough in the Origin arena. QLD can have a nothing set and then Thurston nails NSW deep in the half.

It really stands out compared to the 5th tackle options which the NSW halves have dished up.
