Seriously though, what a great two match series.

We've got the right coaching mix, just about the depth (and quality) of players in the NRL where there's no need to call on british based players (although I think they should be included in the team) and a host of british based players just waiting for their turn.

I'm really looking forward to the next few years as the new generation of Kiwi players come through the ranks.

A successful Kiwi team is just what the game needs in NZ.

Definately! Better and more enthralling than this years Bledisloe cup in my opinion! Tonights game was the best of the lot!

Our furture is looking very good. Now if only NRL teams would stop ruling our guys out with so called "much needed surgery" that would not rule out an aussie player from the same club.

firstly, the Kiwis are lookin good, if they could control the discipline just that little bit more they would be much better, eg: taking out Johns when he failed to find touch. big momentum shift occurred at that point and was totally uneccessary, like 'the Beast' needs someone checking Johns for him.


secondly, are you a doctor? did you examine the players you're hinting at? would they include Marshall, who's shoulder blew out during the GF and Halatau, who's recent surgery proved to be much more needed than was actually first thought?

The future looks good however for us to stay competitive the International RL need to stamp their foot down to make Kiwis in the SL available for Anzac tests etc.

yeah johns needs to teach jones how to act better. their wa contact but not as much as johns made it out as.

They still need to sort the Super League scheduling problem out though. 3 more in Iafeta, Rauhihi and Jason Cayless heading over there next year. Next year you are going to struggle to find 3 or 4 top line props playing in the NRL.

Your answer to a number 7 is....Robbie Paul with Tony at 9 and Fauiumu at 14 with Vagana at 6.

I am very impressed with the kiwis this year we started well in Anzac with bloody Benji and Ropati, and now we havea new coach who is willing to use good tatics (doesnt look at hape vs gasiner!)

In the next few years with BC starting to get stronger and new talent eg. Marcus Perenara and Daniel Floyd the Kiwis will go very well.

unless u have a five eigth who is an organiser, and has a strong kicking game then you would not put benji at halfback as the main playmaker.

hes a strike player, but isnt anywhere near a halfback yet. he has no kicking game and isnt an organiser. can create somthing out of nothing with his skill.

I really do not think Paul is the answer at 7, they really have to find someone young who has the talent.

I know there are a lot of talented NZ halves running around, they just have to step up and be counted.

I've heard Stacey Jones will probably play on beyond this year anyhow.

At any rate, Lance Hohaia will probably shift into the #7 jersey, with Marshall at #6. Hohaia has gone pretty craphouse when he's in the #6 jersey, but for whatever reason he's always played particularly well in the #7/#9 jersey. The Warriors have more often than not won when he's been in the #7 jersey, I can only recall a couple of losses in that jumper for Lance against Newcastle away and Melbourne at home and he was pretty much the Warriors best on ground.

I've always said that Lance was a halfback, not a stand-off. Marshall #6, Hohaia #7 and Faiumu or Tony at #9 would do me nicely.
