The Kiwis (warning: spoilers for those who sleep in!)

Who do you blame for this performance? From a neutral point of view, the Kiwis have simply lacked any attitude. In the first two games against us they were just so intense across the park - in attack and defense. They have suddenly let a very sub-standard GB side carve them up and failed to really break a defensive line that idn't do anything particularly special.

I also feel sorry for the Kiwi supporters watching this game who have to sit there and listen to Eddie and Stevo rant and bloody rave about how good the Poms are when in reality, NZ just didn't show up like they should have.

Of course without a couple of key players, particularly Lockyer, all is not done and dusted just yet. Australia will have to make sure they at least play a decent game to ensure they meet NZ in the final.

Naaah their biggest problem was their defence and attitude, defence resembled wet toilet paper and any team going in at half time with a penaty count of something like 10-4 against em willdo it tough...no defence, no discipline.
Poms think its clicked....to an extent it has for them but the Kiwis helped dit oh so much.
Nothing in the 2nd half....12-12 ?

our biggest problem was a vastly improved british team. they totally outplayed us and beat us by using our own style of footy.

well done britain, they have opened up the comp.

go the roos next weekend :)

...and the missed tackles.....all 43 of them.

That will make any opposition look good.

It will be so sad if we don't make the final. 3 great performances and 1 very poor 1 and we could miss out. Like you said, GO those Aussies!!!

Weak play IMO. Just a poor attitude. You could tell they just thought it'd "happen", for instance Vagana's offload to Motu Tony when all he needed to do was take the tackle and GB were shot. I think Roy Asotasi thought he'd blow over Paul Wellens and got held up, Clinton Toopi thought he'd show Carney the sideline and got blitzed, Kidwell thought he could give away penalties on the last tackle all night and everything would be sweet, Solomona's panic kick to Webb when he had support inside and out and even if they took the tackle it was still try time in the next play or two.

IMO a few players from this side should not be anywhere near the team if they make the final - notably Ali Lauitiiti, Mr Shirt Grabber in defense personified; David Kidwell who played like a headless deranged neandorthol hell bent on gifting momentum to the Brits with reckless penalties; and probably Guttenbeil, who looked decent with ball in hand but on defense had his worst game since about round 10 of the NRL. I don't know where that came from. Add to that Jones will be gone, and Vagana will be suspended.

They definitely should have under any circumstance Paleaaesina and Puletua in that team. They would have at leas added grunt. I guess Robbie Paul will partner Motu Tony in the halves as well. Frank Pritchard should get another go - a guy like Wairangi Koopu could be mighty useful about now.

I think they played dumb footy. The intensity wasn't there as in previous games. The Kiwis made GB look better than they were.

And how slow is the pommy fullback Wellens. Fugg I reckon Covell would do him like a dinner in a 100mtr!!

Those bloody commentators. Everything GB did was wonderful and conversely the Kiwis were awful. I would like to see some neutral callers for the final. And who is sick of hearing bloody Stevo spell out T-R-Y. Geezus, how annoying is that?

He seems to think that because we're from down under and 'colonials' that we can't spell. Memo Stevo - we can spell, read and write plus throw in the 'rithmatic'.

Im sick of people reminding me of it too.

You seem to think that Aust exclusively recieved the broadcast.....maybe the Poms need help with their spelling.

I was more perturbed by Eddie continually trying to work out how much the Poms needed to beat Australia by next week while this weeks match was still being played out in front of him.

I have to say I think they are going away from whats needed.

You dont drop players like Pritchard, Wahtuira and Puletua to have players like Lauitiiti, Hape and Solomona in the side.

Its just dumb team building. They need mobility.

Pretty ironic reading the NZ Herald this morning. Wiki and McClennan are speaking, before the debacle v GB, about how they 'laugh' about being 'insulted' by the tour organisers re not booking their hotels past the round robin stages.

They speak as though they're in the final, and Wiki's column virtually screams 'we're in the final'.

Talk about getting bit on the bum...

Lets get one thing straight!

A GB team that had no warmup games still put 28 points on the Kiwis in the 1st match.

Its no suprise that after 2 games an up to speed GB team beat the Kiwis convincingly.

Australia and New Zealand didnt have any warm up games heading into the First Tri Nations match in Sydney.

New Zeland easily beat Australia at home for the first time since the 50's and over the next three weeks found themselvces flying from New Zealand, to Australia, back to New Zealand and over to the UK to thrashed GB in London a few days after getting off the plane!

That kinda makes for an even game Freaky so whats your point You idiot.

Are you trying to say that a team thats played two highly competative games does'nt have an advantage over a team that has'nt played for 5 or 6 weeks!

Fool!

Im just trying to work out what type of handouts you want the British team to have?

I mean, its not bad enough we have played every single major international series for the last five years in the UK....now your upset because which Australia and New Zealand are traveling around the world playing games...your stuck at home with your thumb up your ar$e expecting even more advantages to be thrown your way!
