No I didn’t watch actually. But thanks for telling me I did. And did I know Vlandys and the nrl paid for journalists to attend? No. Why? Because I dont care. And I gamble on sport. It’s fun. If you don’t go you. Vlandys is taking the game to new levels. So are you. Of whinging.
No just bringing up another point of view, how you spend your money is your business. But saying that gambling addiction is amajor problem in our society.
Sure. Wanker.
Why did you call me a wanker, because I have different point of view... Grow up...

I called you a wanker because you are a judgemental sanctimonious turd. I hope that helps.

You watched...The fact that he has a point I didn't realise that the NRL had paid for the likes of the SMH/2GB Triple M to attend the event...Did you guy's know this...I rather spend my money on a meal than spend it on gambling on Sport.
It was a point well made, that you didn't see one negative article from all those reporters.

“The NRL is making some progress with its quest to secure a free-to-air TV deal in the US. We told you last week how important it is, but it can only be done if Lachlan Murdoch gives it the green light, as Fox in America is already giving support and air time to the NRL.”

So, you are comparing cities of 2.5m - 5m to a country of 330m? Sounds fair.

Anyway, those ratings, like Storm, are horrible. Not sure that should be used as a baseline.
Lions and Swans in their own city v NRL in USA? Those odds are weighted in favour of the AFL teams and the NRL still came out in front

Sorry still backing pvl

maybe when you have ten years as a ceo in the industry I’ll listen lmao

pretty funny you opened an alt account just to argue this point
Just speculating here but this is probably what the talk of buying Superleague and starting a US League was all about. More content, more time zones (including local US matches) and games in all three leagues carrying the NRL brand

remember U2, star power, UFC, boxing? A lot of sht has been said about this whole thing, which is quite fitting for Vegas really lol
To be fair, the NRL did partner with the UFC and put out heaps of promo with UFC fighters which is great advertising to what would be our target market over there. And they did work closely with Tim Tszyu

Telegraph is reporting that 1,749 new WatchNRL accounts have been created in the US since the Vegas Double Header.

Whilst nothing like the numbers PVL is aiming for, that equates to roughly 400K worth of revenue at the AUD229 price point.

These are meant to be in addition to the 3,000-odd subscribers previously published that regularly sign up for Watch NRL in the US.
