The success of vegas is a bunch of us jumping on planes, paying for accommodation and watching the game.

- Base your identity off a favourite film/singer/etc = paying millions to a millionaire
- Protest against any of it through some commentator on youtube = making the commentator the millionaire

This is going the same way as the gambling deal that we were guaranteed to get big money for last year all because Vlandys knows the industry. The actual industry experts said it was going to be difficult if not impossible as there was no reason for them to hand over money, and guess what, there was no deal.

Oh and also how a completely different tv channel was going to give free advertising to fox and the NRL during the super bowl (something they sell for millions) because it was being played at the same location.

This year's version is Joe Rogan and Donald Trump are going to give free advertising for no reason.

It`s going to cost the NRL bugger all, the prizes will be paid for by sponsors, new sponsors from what I can see, it`s going to be a heap of fun seeing the entries, think the milage the NRL gets out of the try celebrations, it`s aimed at younger generations (but hey you`re welcome to give it a go) and who knows if something might be produced that goes viral. You know the sort of thing they have on talk shows or morning breakfast shows, " now have you seen one of these entries for the NRL`s Vegas week." Do a good enough one with Trump in it and who knows !

Any early predictions what the tv audience will be for raiders v warriors in the USA ?

Last year the peak was 81k on Fox Sports. This year Can v Nz will be shown on Fox FTA which should lead to a higher audience.

If Major League Rugby rates between 30k to 150k and MLS gets about 450k…. Realistically we could peak around 200k ????

PVL was interviewed in the Sunday Tele and he is hopeful of a tv audience of around 500k

Thats a big jump from last seasons peak of 80k

NBA games rate about 1.5m with marquee matchups rating around 3m

If the NRL can get 500k that’s a good result.
