Players should not be put in the position to have to validate a 34 times convicted criminal, no matter that he's the president...pre ww2 Hitler was also the leader of Germany at the '36 Olympics and athletes from other countries openly shunned him. But if the nrl is comfortable with having trump then they should also welcome onto the field (to meet the players) the 1500 " patriotic J6 hostages" as he calls them!. Don't think for a second that Trump might not invite them himself....now THAT little awkwardness would be just what Vlandys would deserve!
