Did any high profile celebrities show up? PVL did that embarrassing hostage video trying to get Trump lol but Dana White, Brady, Gronk were all talked about? So who was the biggest name in the US at the games?

I would like to see them make a good go at Los Angeles, West Coast.

For instance.

Round 1. Sunday

Las Vegas event- Play two NRL games (and the one Super League game)

For instance.

Storm v Bulldogs
Tigers v Cowboys

Round 2. Next Friday Los Angeles // San Diego

Storm v Cowboys
Tigers v Bulldogs

Let's suppose we get five thousand from each club come for both games we guarantee a minimum of 10k at each follow up game and then market it locally.

Holding games in the West Coast alone means tapping into Los Angeles (with significant tourism attractions) but also buses can be used minimising travel costs.

Cut the women’s game it’s just a bad look on a big stage and stick with 3 games.

The super league game will have to be shown at 11 pm local time in England so the tv ratings will be off in England

Then back to back nrl games.

The quality of last years product on the field was significantly diluted by the super league game (thought wahs raiders wasn’t much better) and the women’s test was a dead set punish

The wcc can be played somewhere exotic like the oil states they would pay for it plus 3 days in Dubai is also good for tourism. There’s no point including the wcc it’s an event in its own right that will be diluted playing at Vegas.

Dogs dragons eels tigers will all get large crowds over there and they are yet to come. Cowboys dolphins and storm won’t get bad numbers either.
When we suggested it was too many games in a day, and people wouldn't stick around, you tried to claim we where being "negative" and that people would.

This scheduling actively sabotaged the Sharks Panthers game attendance.

Congratulations

You were finally right about something

Though a women’s origin or nrlw gf rematch would’ve been a different result

England just don’t do international rl

I heard an audio grab on the radio this morning from PVL saying that 4 games was 1 game too many for the day.
Even their harshest critics would acknowledge that Abdo and PVL are adept marketers who seldom make missteps. However, this time was different. They have often been accused of focusing too much on the NRL at the expense of the broader game. Yet, in this instance, the Vegas event was more of a Rugby League festival—one that ultimately diluted the NRL brand.

Yeah as much as it was great having the English supporters I think the the focus should be NRL. You want people to walk away with a clear and focused message - watch nrl for the best rugby competition in the world.

With the super league and an international they tried to push a lot of different messages. It would be confusing for people unfamiliar to the sport.

The more I think about it the more I think it should be 3 games… 1 NRLW and 2 NRL that’s it.

Maybe the nrl can think of another way to get more involved with super league, but I think it’s just a bit too much and too confusing for Vegas.

If you want two games then wcc plus one nrl

Three is ok the super league game can be on first and it normally wouldn’t be a mismatch like that

I didn’t mind the super league game that was ok the women’s test was putrid

Hull fc v kr would be an excellent show for super league

The logistics required for the WCC mean that you reduce the amount of travelling fans who can make it, and affect the crowd.

Its a tough gig to organise travel and accom to Vegas in early March, by October.

So whilst the game itself is not a bad choice, you aren't getting bang for your buck in terms of attendance.
