Las Vegas 2025 as of 3:30pm EST 19/08/24

I created a model last year to keep an eye on ticket sales. Will give an update when it's clearer which tickets are being held back from sale for travel packages, etc.

I got a stadium breakdown of roughly:
Level 1 = 27,000
Level 2 = 8,000
Level 3 = 13,500
Level 4 = 10,500

Corporates = 6,000

Very basic estimate - based off level 2 actually being sold to this level, I'd say we're at 20k-30k Sold already. Took until the week of the event last year to shift level 2 in any real numbers.

So many great tries this round. The NRL need to use these plus some Coates’ acrobatics to advertise the game in the US. Maybe show 2 or 3 in each commercial and get the viewers to vote for their favourite. Would showcase the athleticism in the game and generate more interest in the game pre Las Vegas.

Viewers in the US could vote for their favourite try. As many times as they want for say $1 a pop. Peter V could do a deal with a telecommunications company in the US and split the money generated from the calls 50/50 . The most popular try gets announced , then everyone who voted for that try goes into a draw to win a cash prize of say US$50,000 . Winner could be announced during the Las Vegas carnival. The economy is pretty slow in the US so it would certainly garner a lot of attention.

Vegas doing its` job:

PELICANS KEEN ON NRL

The NRL is continuing to make noise in the US on the back of Las Vegas season opener with some subtle enquiries made this week about the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans attending the NRL grand final after their exhibition series in Melbourne.

The Pelicans, featuring NBA superstar Zion Williamson, were excited about the possibility of attending the decider at Accor Stadium after their second game on the afternoon of the NRL grand final day.

However, tip-off is 2pm and with the GF kicking off at 7.30pm, the timing might be too tight. However, it does prove once again the NRL’s push into the US is getting some nice traction.
