THE PAST: The Wests Tigers should have won their second premiership by now. When you look back over the past eight years, the Tigers are probably the team that many would consider as the biggest underachievers. They promised so much but delivered very little. The fact that they have only played in two finals series over the past seven years is astonishing.
THE FUTURE: It's a murky future at the Wests Tigers with the uncertainty around the coach for next season. But given they have unearthed James Tedesco, Luke Brooks, Curtis Sironen, Mitchell Moses and David Nofoaluma in the past couple of years, they should win at least one premiership if the core of that group remain together for the best part of the next decade.

I agree that we have a lot of talent in the squad but you need quality all over the park. If you look at the Roosters they smashed us in the forwards plus had quick outside backs. We have a decent pack but some slow outside backs and the club doesn't seem to recognize it hence letting go of Koro. We need to keep those players.

I also think we need to be careful overpaying some players. Farah and Woods are great players but I hope we haven't overpaid them.

Look we have some very good players coming through but they will be wasted at this club. I just don't see how next season with be any different realistically. Who have we signed? We will need a new board, CEO, coach at least three or four quality signings.

I think that this is part of the problem and we need to fix this somehow. I'm not sure that we need big name signings but the right singings to fix this. Then get some speed out wide and if we get a decent run with injuries we may go alright.

Amen. Over rated. Getting exposed for the park footballer he is week after week. Hands like feet. The media dribble on about him because of his last name and that hack of a CEO Mayer and co paid overs for him on a 3 year deal..

This time last year Eels fans were probably feeling the same way. Consecutive wooden spoons, coach has done a runner, poor roster, no hope, this year they have turned it around and are looking at a top 8 finish.

The tigers in 2014 have done better than the eels in 2012-2013. So there is hope.

We're a completely different and vastly better side with Tedesco fully fit

I don't totally disagree with you, I do believe he has been promoted to early, he is still only very young, next year with a full off season should show us something that most of us are missing. Time will tell.

Difference being that Parramatta have (finally) got their shit sorted off the pitch - 20k members this year. We'll have about 4000 next year.
