Have a good season. Keep bitching, chip chip chip chipping away at the Club until you drain all the confidence and respectability out of the game.
There are some bad outside elements at work trying to destroy the great game of Rugby League and promote self interest (and I DON'T mean people in this forum)
It is being ruined by people with selfish interests, greed and other agenda's. It is time the people jacked up about it.

I think it's sad that Parra pete won't be cotributing to his comments in this forum any more. All comments regarding the club should be welcomed no matter how much you agree or disagree, it always makes for a spirtited discussion.

No ones right or wrong in all this it's just opinion, and thats what makes the eels forum tick. most of you were happy with team selection for this week and yet there are still a few who were shitty about some of the selections.

I also agree that it may be sad we can no longer debate with the man. But at the same time, if he's not going to respect the fact that we have differing opinions then there's not much we can do about that.

Lets argue and debate but not get too personal-OUR team is in deep trouble-has been for over 2 years now and its not looking postiive in any way-lets debate about these facts and not hate eachother because we disagree with anothers opinion and observations.
All i want to say is that Smithy has had every power and opportunity to grow and improve our team and that has not happened-i have been patient but enough is enough-we are not developing our team and it might not be all Smithys fault but he is part of the problem now and for the last 2 years- he has had full control from juniors to recruitment to tactics - that is fact- result is there is no result.

Another big difference is that in 2001 there was much panic when he brought in younger players and swapped the team around and now we are all wanting him to do it again. He just seems to think that when you dominate the opposition you must change the side but when you are struggling the team must stay the same.

But now we know that when he is backed against the wall he will drop his playmaker that he has supported.

PP - this is my first post (hello guys) even though I've been an avid reader of the forum for quite a while. Whilst I haven't agreed with everything you've said I thought you made some good points and I reckon your loyalty to the club and team is great. Hope you change your mind and continue to contribute - after all the forum would be pretty boring if we all agree with each other. If that ever happens '
the forum will start to look like the official Parra BB.
