I’ll work out the point table tomorrow. But first I need to know what the result should be for the two games that weren’t played (Avalon vs Bribie and Holc vs Bribie)? A 2-2 draw sound good?

I know for a fact that one of those games had a challenge sent which wasn't replied to, (Holc vs Bribie) so that game should be a 5-0 result to the team that challenged (Bribie). The other game, as far as i know, neither team challenged, so that game should go down as 0-0.

Good Work Mad Dogg. We can edit that table as we go. The Hills vs Heathcote match this week will be crucial

Funny that you should lose a defender. I just boosted my back 3 with 2 new signings and they are in good form. Bought myself a goal keeper as well. My defence (hopefully) will be 'solid' (pardon the pun)

My personal thoughts are go for Allen and Doel. Doel is a middie who doubles as a good back up wing back. Allen makes a great second string keeper. He's saved me a few times when my first keeper got injured. The other two guys are both capable 2* back ups in their respective positions. Honestly, this kind of value you won't find anywhere else in hattrick. Basically all I am doing is covering the cost of the transfer listing. Anything more is a bonus.

Whats your Youth squad up to Chileman?

Mine just turned solid so now i've got exactly 1 season to wait until excellent...I've only got 1 good player from my youth squad so far, Ed Cgarles Solid Keeper, value $714,000.

Sydney City Crew V.50

Shocking season so far but i'm looking foward to the next weeks and seasons with my new strikers.

My youth squad turned excellent about 7 weeks ago. I got an excellent scorer in the very first week, and since then they've all been crap.

Well Mad Dogg after that freakish 6 week run of youth pulls, i think you deserve to get a few dreg players to equal things up a bit ;-)

You have to make people think they are getting a bargain, thats the key. Putting a starting price below player value is a good way to get something out of a low level player. Better a little bit of cash than sacking the player for nothing. My players above, Brendan Harris and Vance Mahony are case and point.

Vance has got good skills in a few areas, but he has a starting bid of $200,000, well below his actual value. People get interested and start to keep an eye on his sale, hopefully resulting in a bidding war right on the sale deadline.

Brendan is older and his form is down. His starting price is $4000 because, while having passable defending, he has some factors against his sale. Some lucky soul will pick him up really cheap and play him into form, and have a great 2.5* defender.
