My season wasa big phat FLOP!!

Finished 5th - by ONE goal's worth of goal difference mind u - GRRRR!! :evil:

And i therefore have a relegation Qualifier next week....Fortunately the team i am playing is rather cack, and i ***SHOULD*** win it fairly easily...and the extra $$$ will be nice on the plus side!!

My goal WAS to win my division this season..as it will be next saeason!!...But for various reasons - not always within my control - that never happened11

This season went slightly better than expected, especially after dropping 5 points in the first two matches when I should've won both. The top two in my league were always going to be better than anyone else (the one who is promoting would be disapointed with anything less than excellent midfield), and the demoted team was expected to come third. But after that horrid start to the season, I went on to win every match except the four against the big two. So my pre-season expectation of 4th (or possibly even 5th) was slighty bettered by coming 3rd.

I'm just hoping the team that gets demoted will be a weak team so that I have a good chance of coming 2nd next season. Im impatiently waiting for HatStats to finish updating so I can see who it is. :x

I finished 4th which is an improvement on last season (5th) - the guy coming first was just too good, he had my hopes up after we drew 3-3 but the following week he beat me 6-0 so i guess he PIC'd the first meeting :x

I'm aiming to finish next season in 3rd place

the team who finished 3rd this season i can beat as i did that this season - but i'm hoping a crap team will be dropping down to our series possibly even a computer team then i might have a chance at 2nd place!!

Hi guys

I was pretty happy with the way my season ended up. Waramanga Sea Eagles came forth in IV.34 slight improvement on fifth last season.
Good comeback for the team finishing with 3 wins after a run of 4 losses.

Big gap bwtween 3rd and 4th with 4th to 7th pretty even.

I like my current balance. + 3.5 million dollars

Teabag the fluffy feline club mascot and assistant team selector was under threat of a visit to the glue factory if we got relegated so I suppose in the end the threats worked.

Now to try and spend some of that money.

Congrats Chile on your promotion. The competition is tougher but makes for a more interesting game in div IV.

And to all the new guys: Hang in there. The Eagles played 5 games before scoring their first goal and were in debt for a season and a half before breaking even. And the rest as they say is history.

Ohhhhhh dude!!....As it's the off-seaon now...and therefore no income for 2-3 weeks...I'm sorry 2 say I think ure in quite a bit of bother!!

1 mill in debt is only gonna exponentially increase with no income, and spiralling interest on the debt!!

I think u would be best served 2 cut your losses like Lewis ansd start afresh!!

Cos even if u DO manage to - SOMEhow pull thru this - your team will be decimated...and take many seasons to recover!!

Seriously, I'm afraid that would seem your very BEST option right about now!! Sorry!

Sounds like your only hope is to sell sell sell. You need to get the debt to below 500k to stay afloat so list a heap of your best players. We can tell u on here if they have sold and at what price so you dont have to log on to find out.
The only other option is to go bankrupt and apply for a new team.

I didnt see the Doggies post above before i posted this but I would agree that unless your team can survive the sale of 500.000 bucks worth of players it may be better for you to start again.
