Seriously I've always been under the impression that actually naming your own role is against the spirit of the game.

If everyone did it we'd have a handful of doubleups due to mafia liars, kill all those double ups and you'd have a town win in about 3 days

yep been playing a little on epic mafia and it is how they play. once someone is confirmed town everyone has to role claim to them and they pick one of the double ups a everyone lynches them and if they are wrong they lynch the other the following day. makes a boring game
